Whether it’s money worries keeping you up at night or you just can’t seem to shake that bad habit – CAP has a service that can help you.
The CAP Money Course is a free course that will teach you budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that works. In just a few weeks, you will get to grips with your finances so you can budget, save and prevent debt.
Whether you feel pretty organised or whether it's like a lucky dip every time you try to withdraw cash from your account, the CAP Money Course will help you take complete control of your finances. There are hundreds of courses run throughout the country each year, along with specific courses for students, youth and kids.

As a church we have become a local CAP Debt Centre which offers an excellent professional service to people in debt. This is offered free of charge to the client, and enables them to manage their debt, relieving the anxiety of constant attention from creditors. Our Centre Manager Terry Salter works alongside a team of people from the church, who act as befrienders and offer general support.
All the professional expertise is held by CAP headquarters in Bradford, while the local contact is through the local church here.
CAP have been doing such an amazing job that demand for their services has exceeded their ability to meet it and as such CAP have put a temporary hold on taking on any new clients until the new year of 2020.
While offering practical and emotional support through local churches may be unique to CAP, there are some other great trusted organisations that offer debt advice free of charge.
Find out more about them and how they can help you here.
